Post 2, As a quick note for self -presentation

After graduating from Panteion University for Social and Political Sciences, Department of Psychology, I got my post-graduate degree of specialization in Clinical Psychology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

In my up-to-now professional practice, I worked as psychologist in the sections of child protection, refugees’ support and education. During my postgraduate studies I had the chance to familiarize myself with the national public mental health system by working in psychiatric contexts as well as in services of psycho-social support and intervention. As a result, I developed the skills and the knowledge in providing prevention and therapy services, being regularly part of multidimensional professional teams.

For the last months, I am working as a self- employed psychologist.

My main scientific interests relate to clinical psychology, psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychotherapy through movement and art.

Point of my lasting need and quality to enhance in the context where I work and giving meaning in the experience might be considered my participation in collective edition ‘Children Refugees and migrants. Challenges and perspectives in management’ (Law Library) with my work “Integration procedures of young refugees in communities of reception and the role of school as psychosocial constructive context” ….
